Wedding Supplies: All the Little Extras

A wedding is expensive and if you are smart you will be organized and have a budget. The wedding supplies need to be part of the budget.  These wedding supplies or what can be considered the “extras” can really add up.

I am using wedding supplies to describe any of the extra things you might want to have as part of the wedding day.

A guest book and pen may make your list of wedding supplies.  These wedding supplies can be actual books made for weddings or you can use scrapbook paper if you plan to make a wedding scrapbook at some time.
 
You might want to add the wedding scrapbook and any other scrapbooking items to your list of wedding supplies.  It may be a good idea to purchase these wedding supplies before you get married so you can have the paper and embellishments that match the colors and style of your wedding.  In a few years these wedding supplies may be hard to locate.

Do you want to have decorated baskets for the reception?  These wedding supplies are handy because you can use them to distribute party favors and also for putting the wedding cards in. 

You may want to put toasting glasses for the bride and groom on your list of wedding supplies.  When you shop for these wedding supplies you can either have the glasses engraved or decorate them yourselves if you are creative or wish to save some money.

When making the budget for the wedding supplies you will need to decide if you want a special knife for cutting the cake as well as a cake server.  Some people find these wedding supplies not necessary.

You will probably want to add these items to your wedding supplies list; gifts for all the attendants.  Sometimes people spend a great deal of money on these wedding supplies but it is not necessary.

It is a nice idea to give gifts for all the helpers.  You should put this on the wedding supplies list and start looking for the gifts early.  You may also want to give your parents gifts.  This is a nice addition to the wedding supplies list.

If you are having musicians at the wedding you may need to make an allotment for sheet music on your wedding supplies list. 

Make your wedding supplies list early.  It may take you several trips to find all the items on your wedding supplies list!
