The results of wedding photography will help you remember your wedding for years. You may want to talk to several photographers before you decide which one you want for your wedding photography.

If you are on a limited budget you may have to be a little creative when it comes to the wedding photography.  You will need to ask many questions about the prices charged and all the fees for the wedding photography.  If you can only afford a professional for part of the wedding photography you can always fill in with a friend who is skilled at wedding photography for the more casual shots.

You will need some basic information about the photographer and the wedding photography packages and services they offer. You wedding photos are one of the most special keepsakes you will have of the day so choose carefully.

You will have to decide the wedding photography style.  Do you want traditional wedding photos or a documentary type of wedding photography?  You should ask the photographer if she is skilled at both.  Another kind of wedding photography is the artsy style.  This style of wedding photography is more creative and your wedding photos will look like art.

Also be sure to ask the photographer to see samples of their wedding photography.  You will be able to tell a lot from seeing her work.

You will also need to decide if you want the wedding photography to be in color, black and white, or both.  A combination of both is often a good choice for the wedding photography.

You will need to make sure you like the person who will be doing your wedding photography.   If you have an instant dislike of the person, keep looking.

There are questions you will want to ask the person in charge of your wedding photography.  Find out how long the person has been in business.  Ask the person who will be doing your wedding photography if she is willing to be flexible and add photo ops on the day of the wedding.

Find out which cameras will be used for your wedding photography and which formats.  Ask about the hours the photographer will be shooting your wedding photography and set up a contract.

Inquire about the number of shots that will be taken and how many proofs you will receive.  Discuss any package deals that may be available for your wedding photography.

You will never have the chance to take these photos again so make sure your wedding photography is exactly what you want.
