The Wedding Planning Checklist

It may be quite helpful to have a wedding planning checklist. The wedding planning checklist will help you to remember all those details, large and small.

Six to twelve months before the wedding you will want to have these items on the wedding planning checklist:

Follow this list and you will have many of the things done on time.  If you do not do quite a bit of wedding planning you may end up without the dress, flowers, church or reception site you had planned on having.

Wedding planning is a way to be organized and ready for the special day.  When you have a plan and stay with it things will go more smoothly and the chances for unwelcome surprises are diminished.

A week before you wedding you will want to have some other things on your wedding planning list. You should start packing for the honeymoon. Another thing on the wedding planning checklist that week is to check once more with all those involved in providing professional services for the wedding. 

Remember to have your hair styled with the headpiece and practice putting on any cosmetics you will be using.  The wedding planning checklist for the last week should include a final fitting of all wedding attire and rings.

The wedding planning checklist should list the confirmed receipt of the marriage license and details of the rehearsal dinner.  You should also make any final church arrangements.
